About Calc98

Calc98 is a pocket calculator simulator program for the Microsoft Windows operating systems. It can be used in place of the calculator program which is included with the operating system, with many additional features and greater flexibility. On handheld devices, it can be used in place of a pocket calculator. It is especially designed for scientific and engineering students and professionals and includes a wide range of units conversions and scientific functions. It also has statistics, financial and time functions, including a stopwatch.

Calc98 is very compact in terms of screen space, so you can keep it maximized while working within another application and make use of the 'always on top' option, or keep it in the system tray. You can also customize the appearance of Calc98, including the resizing of buttons and their fonts and layout.

Distribution of the free version of Calc98

You may freely distribute the free version of Calc98 provided you do not separate or alter the component files of the archive file or the distribution diskette. The software is not in the public domain. You may not disassemble or reverse engineer or incorporate into another work the software or its components.

You may use the software for a trial period of 90 days. If you wish to continue using Calc98 after 90 days we ask you to register the product. There is no charge for registration. Registration allows us to keep you up-to-date with new versions of the software and helps us to plan further development. The information you supply is not made available to any third parties. A registration form can be found in the file register.htm, which can be printed out from your HTML browser. You can also register on-line at our web site.
