Installing Calc98 on Windows95 or Windows98
Insert the Calc98 disk into the drive and run the SET-UP program on the
disk. This can be done from Control Panel by selecting Add/Remove Programs
and clicking the Install button and then following the instructions from
the installation wizard. Alternatively, you can achieve the same effect
by selecting the diskette drive in Explorer and double clicking on the
SETUP.EXE file.
Follow the instructions in the Setup Wizard to complete the installation.
Installing Calc98 on WindowsNT
Insert the Calc98 the disk into the drive and run the SET-UP program on
the disk. You can do this from the DOS prompt, or you can run it by double-clicking
on SETUP.EXE in File Manager. Follow the instructions in the Setup Wizard
to complete the installation.
Windows3.x
16-bit operating systems, such as Windows3.1, are not supported by Calc98.
There is a 16-bit version of Calc95 which can be downloaded from our web
site or from numerous archive sites, if you need to run a calculator program
on Windows3.x.
WindowsCE
A version of Calc98 has been developed for WindowsCE. Please visit
our web site or contact us for more
information or to download the WindowsCE version.
Calc98 Directory
It is suggested that you keep all the Calc98 files together in their own
directory. If you subsequently move the Calc98 component files around,
make sure Calc98 is run from its own directory, otherwise it may not be
able to locate some of the support files (e.g. FACTORY.PRP and help files).
Uninstalling Calc98
If you need to remove Calc98 from your system, use the uninstall program
in the Calc98 directory or program group, which will automatically uninstall
Calc98. You can also use the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel
and select Uninstall. You may then be given a choice of programs to uninstall
depending on how many of your applications have an uninstall capability,
from which you should select Calc98.
